Bitcoin payments for ecommerce

Already accepting Bitcoin manually? Turn it into a real checkout.

A BTC address on a payment page proves that a merchant can receive Bitcoin, but it does not give the store a reliable order workflow. EcomTrade24 Pay wraps the crypto payment in a session with an exact amount, QR code, status tracking and ecommerce integration.

Bitcoin can stay available for customers who prefer it while the same EcomTrade24 integration also exposes stablecoins and other supported assets. That makes it possible to upgrade a BTC-only store without forcing the merchant back into a conventional acquiring model.

Direct crypto is the primary payment rail. Optional card and local payment routes are third-party fiat-to-crypto purchase services; availability and identity verification depend on the provider and transaction.

Replace manual checking

Stop asking staff to search for a transaction and decide whether it belongs to the order. A gateway session gives the payment a merchant reference and status lifecycle.

Keep Bitcoin familiar

Customers who already use BTC can still select Bitcoin directly. The checkout does not require an EcomTrade24 customer account for direct crypto.

Expand beyond BTC-only

The merchant can add stablecoins and other supported assets without integrating a separate gateway for each cryptocurrency.

From address to checkout

A Bitcoin address is a payment destination, not an ecommerce system.

Manual BTC acceptance often means the customer sees an address, copies an amount, sends the payment and then contacts support. The merchant checks the wallet or block explorer and updates the order by hand. That can work at tiny volume but creates delays, mistakes and poor customer confidence as volume grows.

EcomTrade24 Pay adds a hosted payment page, session ID, exact amount, QR code and payment status that the merchant’s shop can use. The customer still controls and initiates the Bitcoin transfer.

Merchant retention

Give BTC-only merchants a reason to use a gateway.

A crypto gateway must provide more value than taking a large fee to display a destination address. The product strategy therefore separates lower Direct Crypto pricing from higher-cost fiat-to-crypto fallback routes.

The value proposition is operational: professional checkout UX, multiple assets, WooCommerce/API automation, history, reconciliation and optional V3 settlement workflows — not pretending that a direct BTC transfer needs the same economics as a card-to-crypto purchase.

Beyond Bitcoin

Let customers choose stablecoins without replacing the integration.

Many crypto users hold USDT or USDC rather than BTC for everyday payments. A BTC-only merchant can lose those customers even though both sides are already willing to use crypto.

The EcomTrade24 checkout can surface recommended stablecoin routes alongside Bitcoin and keep hundreds of other supported assets behind search. The merchant receives one consistent session and status model regardless of the customer’s selected crypto route.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask before switching.

Does the customer need to register with EcomTrade24 to pay BTC?

No. Direct Bitcoin payment is designed for customers using their existing compatible wallet or exchange.

Does EcomTrade24 hold the customer’s Bitcoin?

The customer-facing direct crypto flow creates a payment destination/status through the configured crypto provider and the customer initiates the blockchain transfer. Merchants should review the configured fund and settlement flow for their account.

Can WooCommerce update automatically after a BTC payment?

The EcomTrade24 WooCommerce gateway connects the payment session with the WooCommerce order and supports payment-status updates.

Can I accept BTC and USDC at the same time?

Yes. Bitcoin can appear alongside stablecoins and other supported assets through the same crypto checkout.

Why not just show my own BTC address?

A static address is simple but lacks session-based order matching, exact payment details, checkout status, automatic store updates and multi-asset choice.

Are card payments included?

Optional independent fiat-to-crypto routes can be available for customers who need to buy crypto first. They are separate from direct BTC and may require provider verification.
